APRIL 2022 JESUS IS ALIVE “They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.” Luke 24:2-3 The question has been asked by many, “If Jesus is alive, where is he?” Spoiler alert! Jesus is alive, and not only is He sitting at the right hand of the Father in heaven interceding on our behalf, but He also lives in the hearts of those who have allowed Him to enter. As we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, aka Easter Sunday, let us remember why. Let us instruct our children and grandchildren that it’s not about the Easter bunny or the Easter baskets filled with candy and toys, but a day to commemorate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave up His life on an old, rugged cross in exchange for our sins. Because we could not save ourselves, God sent His Son to save a dying world. All we have to do is accept His free gift of Salvation and live a life of holiness. “Jesus said be ye holy, as I am holy.” I Peter 1:16 So wake up friends; Jesus is alive and is coming back again! PRAYER: “Father God, thank you that Jesus is alive today and lives in the hearts of those who have accepted Him.” Help us to live a holy and righteous life. In Jesus Mighty Name, amen.”
