Guiding scripture: Philippians 4:19
“But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

During my lifetime of 74 years, I can truly say that God is my Provider.

Growing up in Orlando, Florida as a child, I was raised by my grandparents as my mother was still a very young girl of the age of 15, when she delivered me and brought me home to my grandparents. God showed himself as a Provider through my grandparents for my mother and me, everyday God thinks about us and provides for us. KJV Timothy 5: 8, Hebrews 13:16.

Sacrifices were made by my grandparents to make sure their daughter

and their new granddaughter would have a loving environment and a Christian home to live in. Two years later at the age of 17 my mother delivered my brother which meant a second grandchild entered our household and our grandparents remained our providers through Jesus Christ. There were two adults, four children and two grandchildren in our 8-room home that my grandfather built for his family you see, He was a skilled carpenter and very family oriented. We listen to spirituals daily in our home. My grandmother would gather everyone up in the morning in our living room and we would all kneel, and she would pray. Amazing grace was one of my grandparents favored songs to listen to on Sunday mornings, Yes Lord and can’t nobody do me like Jesus by the Cantons, C L Franklin The Lord will make a way and I will trust in the Lord was enjoyed by all. Church on Saturday and Sunday mornings for me and my brother because my mother was a Seventh Day Adventist, and my grandparents were Baptist. We went to prayer meeting on Wednesday nights and BTU on some Sundays. My mother eventually met and married the man she fell in love with and there   again God placed a provider in our new home. Every hour God looks over and provide for us. KJV, Hebrews 13:5, Genesis 9:3.

I attended school in Orlando Florida and graduated from nursing school in 1968. All of my cares were upon the Lord for He cares for me every minute and provides guidance through the Holy Spirit directing my path. God is always there providing for us; He is no respecter of person (He does not show favoritism). (Acts 10:28, 34-35 KJV). In addition, Psalm 132: verse 15.- say, “I will abundantly bless her provisions; her poor will I satisfy with food.”

God is our Provider and allows us to receive salvation through His Son Jesus Christ and I am a witness, at the age of 12 years old I asked Jesus into my life and never have I regretted a second of it. Everyone growing up in my grandparents’ home accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, one of my aunts became a minister and the other one became the Pastor of her church home.

Remembering scriptures of when the Israelites made their exodus from Egypt, they wondered in the wilderness 40 years because of their disobedience but God continued providing for them. God will do the same for you just ask His Son Jesus Christ into your life, spend time in worship and reading His word. Jesus wants us to surrender ourselves to Him and He will be our Provider in all of our circumstances. Let go of the worldly things and let God be your Provider.

Scriptures for Provision KJV:
